ART TRIP 12: Like Father Like Daughter
I’d been drawing since I was a little boy. We lived on a beachfront house and during low tide, the endless stretch of fine sand was my canvas. I also consumed tons of paper on which I drew faces and superheroes and monsters. But I never had any of my early artworks framed. Guess my mother considered it too expensive.
So when my seven-year-old little princess presented me with one of her “masterpieces”, I had it framed. It now hangs proudly in my office. Perhaps I’ll give it back to her much much later… as a wedding gift, hehehehe.

i also had paintings at home. unfortunately, only one survived and still isn't properly framed. the rest of my artworks are with my professor, di na naibalik after he posted them sa art show sa city namin. hehe. sayang nga eh, i love the goldish painting pa naman pero he told me i can go to his shop anytime for free training and canvass. haha.
i'm up and about. planning to go to school again. probably enroll in fine arts sa UP Cebu. weeeeheee!!! schoolmates na kami ng kapatid ko soon. hehe. and my talents won't go to waste na. :)
